Swapped out the old stone for this cordierite pair and the crust came out noticeably crunchier on the bottom, especially after a quick preheat. Fits my Karu 16 perfectly with zero wobble, and having two means I can keep one hot while loading the next pizza.

The extra stone means I can swap in a fresh one mid-bake without waiting for the first to reheat—huge when I’m churning out six pizzas for the family. Both heat up evenly and the crust gets that nice leopard-spotted char on the bottom.

These two stones fit perfectly in my Karu 16 and swap out in seconds. The cordierite material gives a nice even crunch on the bottom without any hot spots, and clean-up is just a quick scrape.
